Winter in the Woods offers two nights (Friday and Saturday) throughout
the month of December to give you an opportunity to tuck yourself away
for a weekend this winter in Cook Forest. Winter in the Woods features
a two night stay in a fireside Jacuzzi suite, chef tasting for two and
breakfast each morning of your stay. The chef tasting is five courses
of sheer delight prepared by our chef, with wine pairings from our
award-winning list if you so chose. Live entertainment serenades as you
enjoy your tasting.

Saturday, December 11. As you go dashing through the snow along River

NEW YEARS WEEKEND | December 31-Jan 2
2011 is here—where else would you rather ring it in from than Gateway
Lodge, tucked amongst the beautiful woods of Cook Forest? And just
because you’re going a little bit out of the way to celebrate, doesn’t
mean it’s any less of a celebration. In fact, we’ve perfected the New
Year’s celebration. Fine dining, live entertainment, champagne toast
and appetizer buffet are just a few of the indulgences offered for the
holidays.
New Years Weekend includes two nights in a fireside Jacuzzi suite,
chef tasting for two, champagne toast at midnight, live entertainment,
appetizer buffet and breakfast both mornings for just $599.
VALENTINE'S DAY PACKAGE | First and Second Weekend in February

gift of time together. Spend two nights in luxury jacuzzi fireside

Valentine's Chef Tasting Dinner | First and Second Saturday in February
Romance your Valentine with a candle-lit five-course chef tasting
on Saturday evening for an additional charge of $99 per couple plus $25
per person for wine pairings. Musical entertainment will provided to
all dinner guests. Seatings available at 6pm and 8pm. Reservations
required. We will be taking 6pm seatings first until full. Menu will be
released to those with reservations prior to event.
VALENTINE SPA ROMANCE PACKAGE | All 2-night weekend stays in February
Sweep

MURDER MYSTERY WEEKEND PACKAGE | March 19-21
"Who did it?" "Where did they go?" "How could they?!" Questions spread
like wildfire during the Gateway Lodge's MURDER MYSTERY WEEKEND, March
19-21. As you enjoy your weekend getaway in a fireside Jacuzzi suite,
your senses pique as mystery takes place all around you. Feel free to
proclaim yourself a "sleuth" as you put together the pieces of this
ever-twisting mystery created by Keith and Margo. It all begins with a
murder mystery movie night and the following day's activities include
breakfast, lunch, cocktails, and dinner, complimented by a mysterious
air. The mystery comes to a close Sunday at breakfast.
Murder Mystery Weekend at the Gateway Lodge is brought to you by Keith O'Leary and Margo Morrison, titled "The Mastermind of the Genre" by LA Times. Keith and Margo began putting together such events in 1985, totaling over 7,000 productions. Their award-winning talent of writing, producing and directing is sure to delight, entertain and test the skills of every guest.
We offer this weekend package for just $299 per person. The package includes two nights in a suite, breakfast both mornings, lunch on Saturday and dinner Saturday evening. Cabin guests are welcome to join in the happenings for an additional $150 per person. Book your stay before February 20th and receive $25 off–a savings of $50 per couple!

Two nights in a luxury

Friday through Saturday, excluding holidays (ie: Valentine's Day
Weekends) and the month of October.
MIDWEEK ESCAPE PACKAGE, $399
Two nights in a luxury suite with dinner one evening and breakfast both mornings. Available Monday through Thursday.
INNKEEPER SPECIAL PACKAGE, $199
One
night in a luxury suite with breakfast the following morning. Available
Sunday nights year round excluding October and holidays (ie:
Valentine's Day). Includes a $40 meal credit.
