Built in 1934 as a roadside respite at the “gateway” to Cook Forest State Park, Gateway Lodge has maintained its original charm with eight historic lodging rooms, featuring antique decor and either separate or shared baths.
Whichever room you select, your restful night’s sleep is followed with a wonderful B&B country breakfast served in the lodge’s hewn-log dining room.
Relax in the lodge’s Great Room with its log beams, wood-burning hearth, intimate seating areas and outdoor deck surrounded by forest grandeur.
