With a setting that includes some of the most magnificent old-growth forest scenery found east of the Mississippi, this upscale log-cabin Inn has been awarded one of the Top Ten Best Inns in the United States, and was chosen Money Magazine's top travel picks. 

The Inn features 21 spacious Suites, with king-size beds, each with a large corner two-person whirlpool tub, which sits next to the fireplace.  All the suites include a large private bath and mini-refrigerator.  Many of the suites also have their own private terrace looking out into Cook Forest.
There are also eight historic rooms, which are part of the original 1934 Main Inn. These rooms have double beds and include our delicious             country breakfast. 

Just a short walk across the street and set back in the woods on a private drive are our Eight cabins, all with fireplaces, all but one of which are wood burning.   These truly wonderfully rustic cabins have their own kitchens, which you are welcome to use while you are with us.  However, if you are tempted by our menus, you are of course welcome to join us in our dining room for a sumptuous breakfast or one of our delicious dinners.

Separate but close to the Main Inn is our State of the art conference center, complete with breakout kitchen, porches, and a spacious reception area.  This space is ideal for small Business meetings, weddings, reunions and retreats.  For the convenience of the meeting or wedding, above the conference center are two of our finest overnight suites.
